Accomplishments
- We have given so far 100 goats to 15 women groups in Bulambuli district each group comprising of minimum 10 women
- We have done so far 30 community outreach programs educating communities on sanitation, hygiene and how to boil and keep safe drinking water, wash hands with soap after visiting latrine and educating women on the importance of washstand where they keep their household utensils clean
- We have built a public latrine in Nabongo trading centre of Bulambuli district to promote hygiene
- We have provided sanitary towels to Muyembe primary school girls so that we can keep them in school
- We have started a goat breeding project where we started with 20 goats so that we are able to sustainably continue giving out goats to women groups. The goal is to give each woman in Bulambuli district a goat and eventually each woman builds a heard in a way of empowering them economically
- We have set up a solar powered water purification system on schools and health Centre IV
